It was Pinnacle Prime’s intentions to use my credentials, experience and skills to
oversee and manage the construction of a Federal Building. After Pinnacle
Prime hired me: they did not get the bid on the Federal building; nor, did they get
the next seven bids to follow. They hired me on the assumption that they would get the bids. I was given two
on-going Comfort Inn Hotel projects in which I operated as the Project Manager.

8/01 - 2/06: Facilities Planning Coordinator / Project Manager,
FAU – Florida Atlantic University,

I coordinated the construction projects for the University with the: Architects,
Engineers, Users (University Personnel), and Contractors; along with conducting
regular planned meetings. I met with: codes inspectors, fire marshals, and other
state and county officials to finalize the project for occupation / completion. I
was responsible for the budget and schedule from conceptual through final
warranty walk through.
For a period of 8 months, in conjunction with the responsibility of my own
workload: I acted in the position of building codes enforcement coordinator and
issuances of permits, until the University found a qualified person to fill this
position. I was responsible for the completion of the President’s House, FAU
Blvd., the replacement of the Gym floor and roof, and the De Santis Pavilion.
Also, I worked on: the College of Business, the Lee Street improvement project
and various other minor projects. In addition to coordinating several multi-
million dollar projects at one time: I coordinated simultaneously approximately
fifteen to eighteen other small projects in the range of one million and below.
Some of these projects were off campus projects, which, the State of Florida
needed completed.

| I was the on-site State representative to oversee the construction of the Fire Training Academy and Codes Enforcement School from conceptual to the final walk through. I was directly responsible for all construction projects, coordinates, estimates, and had to monitor and track the progress of the contractor. I met with and conducted meetings with the architectural firms, engineers and government officials on a regular basis. I updated the schedules on a bi-monthly basis, using P3 Primavera. My main function was to protect the State’s interest by keeping the: contractors, engineers and designers accountable. The cost of the project was approximately
$20 million. |

I was the onsite corporate representative in charge of two developments. One development was in Pigeon Forge, Tennessee. It was called Laurel Crest Resort. The other project was located in Gatlinburg, Tennessee. It was called Mountainloft Resort. Both resorts had two to five million dollar plus projects going on at any given time in each phase.
My activities included: the development of property infrastructures, budget control and analysis, estimating for acceptance of bids to control cost overruns and review of contracts, along with approval of pay applications for contractors, subcontractors, and engineers. I held meetings with the contractors, subcontractors, interior design consultants, local utility companies, architects, engineers and developers to ensure that the projects were delivered in a timely manner. These projects were time sensitive, and had to be delivered on schedule. I was responsible for the final acceptance of the product / finish level.

My position was to oversee, estimate and procure the work through competitive bidding and negotiations. I reviewed and interpreted contracts with the owners to give them the understanding and knowledge that the architect and engineers are portraying.
